Scout organizations have several levels such as Siaga, Penggalang , Bantara and Pandega . The grades are classified according to the age of their members.
FIRST time to join SCOUT
Basically scout members must go through the right order, for example starting with Siaga, but because at that time it was grade 5 elementary school, so I entered the Penggalang.
I became a raiser until grade 3 junior high, I always follow the scouting and was really happy because I could be adventurous with nature and like new challenges ( classic reasons seem to ).
In high school only became a member of Bantara , and this is where the real journey begins.
BE A BANTARA
To be honest, I know Scouts more deeply when I became a Bantara , the difference is very far compared to Penggalang , although there are still lessons that are still the same as Penggalang
The difference that I feel is that adventure is more challenging, even thinking harder.
When I first went to the extracurricular election, I went to the Theater, because I was curious about this role art extracurricular activity. Well, I'm a shy person, especially when I have to stand in front of many people. maybe by entering into extracurricular Theater it can reduce shyness.
But a month in the theater was not suitable for me, moreover I did not have any talent in the arts, playing a musical instrument, or acting. Finally I decided to enter the Scout, in fact even then persuaded by classmates.
In the first 6 months, I felt like enjoying being in Scout, but getting here felt bored with repetitive activities, whether the application from seniors who could not make their members more creative, or me who was indeed bored and tired.
Just imagine extracurricular activities are carried out every Saturday from morning to afternoon, which is supposed is time to rest, and this honestly makes me tired.
BECOME THE CHAIRMAN OF SCOUTS
After the senior stepped down from his position, then we who used to be members who were directed were also educated to continue this dynasty, I served as Pradana Pramuka (term scout leader in Bantara), both happy and somewhat lackluster.
Happy because it will be widely known by the teachers as well as other extracurricular members, less enthusiastic because I have to compile a work program for the next year, even though I am not the only Pradana.
In the scouting between Male and Female that are separate entities, the intention is that both male and female members have the same office and responsibilities.
Pradana Pramuka there are two people who served, namely Pradana Putra also Pradana Putri, as well as the Secretary (Kirani), treasurer and interpreter custom (Juru adat). We work more optimally because there are more members in the work council than other extracurricular organizations.
BECOME THE CHAIRMAN OF SCOUTS MAKES PRUSTATION
Somehow being a scout leader for me has its own pressures , when other students only focus on learning, here the mind is divided into two, must think about school lesson, also think about the conditions of scouts that must be in line with the work program that has been made.
The thing that is uncomfortable is that there is a work program that can be considered a big project, such as holding a LATGAB (Joint Training).
LATGAB is a kind of exercise that is carried out outside of school, its activities are in the form of tests aimed at Bantara candidates through predetermined posts, maybe you have participated in a screaming night event at a Boy Scout? well, the same Latgab. The difference is that latgab is implemented by a number of Ambalan (the term Front Cluster/ Gugus Depan) or several schools in one district.
In the year when I became the Scout Chief, it happened that our school was the host . And this makes me even more confused, even though the chairman is limited to giving direction, but I am both the brain and the decision maker.
A small number of councilors makes it a burden, especially since there are only 5 members of the male council that make me have to go into the field to help.
Latgab preparation is arguably the most complicated and troublesome work program, especially since we are the hosts who have to prepare everything. There are at least 5 schools in one sub-district that participated in this latgab.
The committee is formed from each school representative, so we as the host must prepare a meeting schedule and equipment readiness . Usually the latgab location will be held close to the host's school, starting from the first post on the school grounds, to the last post here.
The preparations made have become chaotic for me, it might take two months to take care of everything, make a permit, the issue of costs that must be provided, consumption and an award certificate for Latgab participants. Even me and some members of the council had several times dispensation from school subjects because they had to do licensing with other schools that would follow Latgab.
Alhamdulillah, as long as the event went smoothly, and there were even obstacles and burdens, I think the burden was felt to be quite heavy during the preparation period which took a long time.
IMPLEMENT THE BLOWN
DIKLAT (education and training) is the last work program that must be completed, this work program is the same as Latgab, the difference is that if the latgab is carried out for one full day, the training will be carried out for three days by camping.
It sounds exciting camping, even this is what has been waiting for when becoming a member of the scout. But Training for Bantara is not like having fun camping in general. Bantara Training aims to train prospective members of Bantara to take part in a series of activities as one of their acceptance into Bantara.

Maybe for others to consider the training as a place for revenge, but from now on I can change that mindset . Training activities are not too hard given to participants, but more concerned with learning in nature, how to use a compass, survive and learn to enjoy nature.

To be honest, the preparation of the training also made me down , as well as in preparing for the Latgab, but this was more complex, we prepared food supplies, camping equipment, accommodation, permits, surveys of places as well as physical conditions.
The most unexpected thing was that when Juru Adat (the deputy head of the Pradana) could not attend the training program because of an accident, honestly it made me more depressed , there should be something reliable, but this all seemed to be borne by me. Moreover, the scout supervisor sometimes makes me depressed by his words, there is a little wrong who else if not the chairman who was affected.

The last day when undergoing education and training was a Good day, everything was settled and quite smoothly despite a few obstacles. It feels good because I feel free from the burden that has been shouldered, but from all this I can learn how to organize, respect the opinions of others, choose the right decisions and the knowledge of patience gained.

The lesson I got when I became a chairman in an organization was to simply organize and give direction on how things went well, everything could work together and do what was their job, the mistake I had ever done was not to trust the Juru adat who provided training to members, for some reason I took over his duties without discussing with him, and it became a lesson in how the chairman should behave.
